About the Customer.
Based in the US, this customer is a division of a global company who provides award-winning security services throughout North America. They cover all security aspects through on-site, mobile and remote, fire & life safety and corporate risk management.
The Advizex relationship began through people at both companies who’d worked together in previous lives. They knew of our reputation and called us to help during the COVID-19 Pandemic. Like other organizations, their workforce went remote quickly, and we were able to help them make it work.
When it became clear that an infrastructure refresh was the priority, they knew who to call.

Through acquisitions and mergers, their environment became complex. Advizex has experience in this common situation. The customer decided internally that the best way to solve most of their technology challenges was through an infrastructure refresh. They wanted us to comb through the entire environment to consolidate data centers and streamline their overall design.

Putting Advizex in charge, they wanted to look at several vendors to see which one was the best fit.

The Advizex team directed several OEMs to outline their best fit solutions for the customer. We then analyzed them and brought recommendations to the customer. The Dell Technologies product line was selected by the customer as the best value solution.
The initial solution was positioned with Dell EMC Unity XT All Flash. Advizex engineering team recommended the Dell EMC PowerStore all-flash data storage on PowerEdge MX servers. A more recent technology, this combination gave the customer more options, including the ability to scale.
We drove great efficiencies across the board. With business merger and acquisitions actively underway, the customer received a single, vendor-supported solution set up in a way that’s ready for growth.
