Advizex announced that CRN®, a brand of The Channel Company, has named C.R. Howdyshell, President, to its 2021 Top 100 Executives list. This annual list honors the passionate and hard-working technology executives who are supporting, growing, and redefining the IT channel. The executives named on this list have demonstrated their commitment to the channel and proved themselves as exemplary leaders through their innovative channel-focused strategies and initiatives.
C.R. Howdyshell joined Advizex in 2003, holding a variety of leadership roles, including Regional VP/GM and EVP of Sales. In February of 2017, Howdyshell was appointed President of Advizex and has since been dedicated to transforming from a hardware-focused strategy, to a model leading with services solutions. Since putting Howdyshell’s vision in place, Advizex has grown the overall services business by 20% annually. Advizex is also reshaping their approach to selling product, with more focus on allowing customers to consume “Everything as a Service”. Currently, Howdyshell serves on the Advisory Boards of Dell, HPE and VMware, which further enhances the opportunity for OEM alignment on their strategy.
